Holidays and travel

Being based in the UK we have had the opportunities to travel to all four corners of the UK from John O'Groats to Lands End including the Isle of Man. From North to South and East to West of our homeland we have seen some wonderful and breath taking sights.

Looking further afield than our UK base we have taken various trips to Mainland Spain and the Spanish Islands, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Turkey, Greece, Belgium, Israel, Andorra, Cyprus, Mexico and USA and they have all been wonderful.

Barcelona, New York, Yosemite, Positano, Oludeniz, Corralejo, Salzberg, Capri, Albufeira, Cambrils, Venice, Amalfi, Rome, Sorrento, Verona, New Orleans, Paleokastritsa, Grossgmain, Ravello, Nerja, Salou, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Monterey, San Francisco, Sonora, Las Vegas, Santa Barbara, Grand Canyon, San Diego, San Antonio, Jamestown and the Big Sur sceanic freeway journey.

Our first holiday abroad to Austria

We traveled for three months across America starting on the east coast and working our way to the west coast. Transport for the journey included car rental, Amtrak Rail & American Airlines. Our destination was Santa Rosa were I had a job interview lined up. It turned out to be successful but 'life events' changed our plans for having the American lifestyle opportunity.

Starting in Florida in the hot December sunshine we moved to spend a few weeks in New York over the Christmas Holidays, it snowed heavily on Christmas Day and tempretures had plumeted, it was a magical experience.

Next stops Washington DC, New Orleans, Houston, San Antoino, El Paso, Tucson, Phoenix, Flagstaff, Lake Havasu City, Las Vegas, Tijuana,

San Diego, Los Angeles, San Jose, San Francisco and Santa Rosa.

So many more towns, cities and landmarks were also seen that made our USA expedition so memorable. We also managed to spend a lovely week with Erica and Paul in Petaluma, lovely memories.
